I am looking for one person non-smoker to sublet my room in a 2 bedroom apartment for one whole week from July 15th – July 22nd. The total rent is $ 300 with utility included. Plus a $50 security deposit that will be returned to you on July 23th.
Location:
At the south and east corner of Prospect Park, Brooklyn NYC. (by Bedford Ave and Parkside Ave). On the Q line at Parkside Ave stop. 25 min to 14th street Union Square, Manhattan by subway (5 stops). Also near B,4,5 subway line. Two blocks away from the subway station.
Your room:
is spacious (16ft x14 ft), with 2 windows facing south, a lot of sunlight, hardwood floor, a double bed, and a couch, very tidy and clean.
Your roommate:
A 30 year old male, he will be gone for most of the week, so you are on your own.
The building:
I am on the top floor of a 6-floor apartment building with elevator, well maintained. There are self-paid washing machines and dryers in the basement.
The neighborhood:
The biggest bonus is the gorgeous prospect park. It is only two blocks away and we are near the beautiful lake that is home to many wild birds. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a short walk through the park, and further are the Brooklyn Museum and Central Library. It is a very safe neighborhood, even coming home late at night there are many shops opened and people on the streets. Flatbush Ave is bustling with bars and restaurants. There is a farmers’ market in the park every Saturday.
