友人のアメリカ人男性が、クイーンズのアストリアでルームメートを募集しているので、 代理で投稿しています。短期のご希望も受け付けているそうです。現在実家とここを行き来しているので、家にいることが凄く少ないそうです。問い合わせは直接エバンまで英語でお願いいたします。

Hi everyone, I have a good size furnished room, about 9x12, available in my 2BR Astoria apartment that has a large kitchen.

The price, $980, includes FIOS ultra high speed internet, some type of cable (I've never used it but it's included) and the utilities.

I work nights generally as a musician and am out of town at times.

If you have been looking around you may notice the price is well under what units like this in the area now cost. That's because I have been here for 10 years now, and have a very good relationship with the landlord. It is important I maintain this by having a respectful roomate for the building.

The main thing for me is quiet when we are both here. I only listen to / watch things on headphones or at a low volume, not a loud talker on phone calls etc. I mostly meditate or relax in the place and that's the vibe I would prefer to keep. I rent a practice space and do not practice my acoustic instrument at home.
no couples or having partners stay overnight, some exceptions could be possible if discussed beforehand and infrequent.

As far as the building rules, no pets, bikes in the building, no throwing cigarettes around the building.
A 9-5 type job is ideal as if I am home, it tends to be daytime. I sometimes teach music or meditation classes via Skype then.
