“Business Communication in Japanese” workshop
This Business Communication in Japanese workshop focuses on communication skills needed in Japanese business and corporate environments as well as daily conversation. You will learn useful and practical expressions, phrases, and vocabulary in Japanese. This class will also emphasize on intercultural communication and importance of Japanese business cultural etiquette.

■Contents: (Class will be taught in a mixture of Japanese and English)
・The concept of uchi (in-group) vs. soto (out-group) in Japanese business contexts
・Self-introduction/Basic greetings using keigo (practical usage of polite, honorific, and humble form)
・Gift giving and receiving in Japanese business contexts
・ Basic Katakana phrases often used in Japanese business contexts
