SAYURI USHIO ART EXHIBITION Reception party

Sayrui Ushio, founder of the patented hair technology STEP BONE CUT, is showcasing her concept that a haircut is a work of art. Sayuri believes that hairstylists should sketch their ideas and hair designs prior to cutting the customers hair in order to give them a sense of what the style will be like. The STEP BONE CUT allows hairstylists to make hair styling an art form. Each customer is like a blank canvas, and the stylists are the artists. With her drawings painted on large window canvases and mannequins, this exhibition will give viewers a peek into her creative process . Last yearﾕs hair show at the STEP BONE CUT Association General Meeting in Japan was a huge success and this one is expected to be even better with the collaboration of renowned dancer and choreographer, ODNA who will also perform at this reception party.

特許取得技術『STEP BONE CUT（小顔補正立体カット）』の発案創始者である SAYURI はヘアカットは単なるカットでなくサイエンスであり、芸術作品であるという概念を持つ。「施術前に顧客が仕上がりのスタイルを知ることができるよう、それぞれの顧客のためデザインを描く必要がある」とSAYURIは語る。このエキシビジョンでは大きなガラスウインドウをキャンバスに、どのようなプロセスでヘアデザインを形にするのかをアーティーなアプローチで表現。STEP BONE CUTはアーティストがキャンバスに絵を描くように自由にヘアカットを楽しむ。これはまさに芸術である。２月５日には世界中から認定技術者が集まるSTEP BONE CUT 総会で彼女のヘアショーが開催され好評を博した。レセプションパーティーでは新進気鋭のパフォーミングアーティストODNAとのコラボが開催される。
