galerie de pop inc.is seeking a full time sales assistant to support and develop existing clients and new accounts for our brands ( pas de calais and sage de cret )
pas de calais highlights a casual silhouette in organic, natural fabrics with a slight touch of decadence and Japanese luxury. We have been existed for 21 years, and we are headquartered in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will have 2 plus years of experience in women's and or men's contemporary fashion wholesale sales in North America.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years wholesale sales experience in the women's and men's contemporary market with experience managing specialty stores.
Ability to reach and exceed seasonal sales goals and to identify new account opportunities.
Exceptional verbal & written communication skills; strong MS Office and QuickBooks skills. Photoshop knowledge is a plus.
Strong sales technique including professional email etiquette and ability to close deals.
Must have strong presentation skills and the ability to develop new business.
maintain strong relationships with buyers.
Great attention to detail
The ability to effectively cold call.
Japanese language (written and spoken) is a huge PLUS. Basic knowledge Japanese business practices and language is also very helpful. We work directly with our headquarters in Tokyo, so ability to communicate in Japanese via email and face-to-face is a daily occurrence.
