Objectives of this Role
• Plan and implement server and storage system for on-site and/or cloud environment.
• Manage and monitor all infrastructure and system installations, including configurations,
testing, and maintenance
• Implement and maintain backups, security, and redundancy strategies
• Identify potential issues and integrate possible solutions
• Craft custom scripts, reducing requirement of human interaction
• Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful
• Engage with upper management regularly with reports on project status, activities, and achievements

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
• Communicate with stakeholders to identify what they want a system to acc omplish .
• Specify the system requirements and design in writing.
• Design physical configuration for the server and storage device to create quotation
• Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and clearly document the design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks to leverage IT support staff
• Use expert-level administration and optimization of hosts and servers to ensure high availability and appropriate resource management
• Conduct high -level root-cause analysis for service interruption and establish preventive measures
• Create reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions; oversee the overall

Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science
• 5+ years of experience as a System(Server) Engineer or similar role
• Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures,
system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, DNS/Mail system, content delivery, and caching.
• Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure and AWS)
• Excellent communication and people skills and the ability to work both independently and
documentation skills
• Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) highly desirable
• VMWare Certification highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of Unix system administration
• Knowledge of networking (Routing & Switching) and application-level operations
• Professional certifications: AWS Associate Certificate, MCP for Azure
• Language:
English: Speaking, Reading & Writing (Native/Business) Japanese (Preferred): Speaking (Coversational) & Reading
