1. With oversight of the management team of R&D Center Americas, the manager, Corporate
Strategy Planning will lead corporate strategy planning of whole RDCA, crystallize a
direction based on corporate strategy, and plan/promote concrete activities by supporting
President.
2. Conduct complex analysis of external/internal environmental data (market trend, competitor
analysis and the company's Group's business and technology, etc.) to lead portfolio
management, market understanding and corporate strategic planning by utilizing external
resources (consulting companies or research companies, etc.), through hearing to external
intellectual and applying strategic frameworks.
3. Develop countermeasure strategy to changing partner or competitor strategies
4. Report to the Management team of R&D Center Americas about the outcomes of
responsible activities (e.g. corporate strategy planning, industry environment research,
project planning/management, etc.).
5. Support project planning/management of various projects which are promoted by R&D
division and Strategic Planning Division in achieving project objectives.
6. Track and report on strategy execution by working with R&D division and Strategic Planning
Division and report to the management team of R&D Center Americas.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the company's group's
Strategic/Sales/Marketing/Finance/R&D (PPM) departments and provide a value-added
support role in their strategic planning process and activities.
8. Creating high-quality presentations / deliverables for internal and external relevant parties.
9. Other duties as requested.

Salary:　＄５０K〜＄９０K（DOE)

Qualifications
Ph.D. degree or Master or BA in sciences, biology, engineering, or other technical or scientific area or equivalent training highly desirable. Minimum 7 years’ experience of R&D or innovation management in healthcare industry and academia.
IVD knowledge preferable.
Experience in networking, project management, KOL management, market research, technology evaluation, academic collaboration.
Solid oral and written communications skills, presentation and influencing skills, and the ability to deal directly with professional and managerial level customers.
Fluency in English and Japanese required. Third language ability a plus.
Ability to use Microsoft Office suite of software: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Internet Explorer.
Ability to make technology recommendations based on well-balanced science, medical and business rationale.
Ability to solve complex problems by bringing together the right people into a structured process.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
