Server for Izakaya Style Teahouse

29b Teahouse is an upscale casual tea bar located in East Village that serves premium teas, cocktails, biodynamic wine, craft beer, sake, and elevated Japanese style cuisine.

We are looking for experienced staff that can cater to our diverse clientele. Knowledge of tea is not necessary but fine dining food service experience in NYC is a must. Any culinary education or NYC Food Handlers Certificate is a big plus!

As a teahouse server you are responsible for properly preparing tea (we will train you), preparing alcoholic beverages, plating and serving light snacks while guiding guests through the 29B Teahouse experience. Servers are expected to give service that is knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, and energetic while upholding company standards in a relaxed, yet fast paced environment.

This position has a flexible schedule and requires a minimum availability of 2-4 shifts a week, which can range from opening to closing. Employees will be asked to take on a variety of light tasks in order to keep the teahouse running at its peak condition.
