Sales Manager (Japanese Products)
Title: Sales Manager. 70-80K
Location: Head Office at Brooklyn, New York
Report To: Sales General Manager
Overview:
Understands the corporate vision as well as its strategy to introduce Japanese products to the world. Manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales goals for the sales unit. Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies. Your primary focus is to improve teamwork in the sales unit in order to increase sales in the US market. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Acts as advisor to sales unit’s team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Sets up sales goals and reviews sales forecasts for the sales unit. Responsible for sales, performs various count managements (accounts receivable, inventory, etc.). Trains employees in the sales unit, and works smoothly with partners in the company. Assists the sales general manager in terms of sales.

Acts as advisor to sales unit’s team regarding projects, tasks, and operations
Focuses on developing customer-oriented proposals while promoting sales activities that are beneficial to the company and clients.
Understands the product value of products selects sales outlets based on the brand strategy, proposes a concrete sales promotion for the sales unit to increase the brand value while expanding sales.
Develops the sales goals for the sales unit, and follows up with the result numbers.
Shows leadership in terms of sales, gathers the sales unit to maximize the employees' abilities that lead to increased sales.
Shares product information according to the client’s demand with the sales unit.
Maintains awareness for service improvement at all times in order to increase customer satisfaction and sales results.
Seeks and Develops new clients with the sales unit’s staff.
Sets-up and Attends to the trade show.
Analyzes the sales reports weekly in order to recognize issues and reviews them for future improvement.
Controls and Resolves overdue payments in coordination with sales unit’s staff.
Supervises and controls sales unit’s staff, trains them in their growth, also improve teamwork in the sales unit.
Assistant for the sales general manager in terms of sales.
Participates in function-related training as the sales manager.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
A bachelor's degree or its equivalent
A minimum of 3-5 years of related Sales experience,
1 - 3 years supervisory experience with more than two staff members
Communication Skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, staff and management
Other Skills
Must have Experience of Salesforce
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word etc.)
