Job Description
Japanese Fine Sushi Dining is located in multiple locations in Manhattan is seeking an experienced, professional, and hands-on Floor Manager who is understanding and passionate about the Japanese culture and cuisine.
This fine-dining specializes in preparing the highest quality of sushi for their guests in terms of selecting the freshest ingredients, providing the proper balance of flavors of their sushi so that each guest can experience a taste that is incomparable to other Japanese Sushi restaurants in NYC.

Responsibilities and Duties
· Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and act in a friendly manner towards customers and employees.
· Work efficiently in a team environment to achieve the restaurant's operational objectives.
· Meet restaurant financial objectives.
· Must have the ability to quickly adjust to the restaurant's operations and communications with BOH.
· Supervise and monitor the daily operations of employees.
· Must be able to work in a safe and clean manner at all times.
· Other duties assigned.
· Must be a hands-on manager.

Qualifications and Skills
· Must be eligible to work. (Must have a work visa)
· Must have a Food Handler's Certificate in NYC. (or willing to obtain after you are hired.)
· Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the Restaurant Industry. (Japanese Sushi Restaurant of experience minimum for one year)
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in Management.
· Must be fluent in English, knowledgeable of culture, and speaking in Japanese is a BIG plus!
· Flexible, energetic, and motivated individual that could work in a team environment.
· Effective communication, customer service, people management, and conflict resolving skills.
· Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel)
· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and energetic.

Work Hour
Around for 48~50 hours/week, if you would work more, you will be paid as overtime.
Job Type: Full-time

Salary
$55,000.00 ~ DOE. + Bonus
