★Assistant Manager★

Authentic Japanese restaurant in Midtown East is seeking an Assistant Manager who would be trained and groomed to assume the General Manager position after a training period.

Title: Assistant Manager
Location: Midtown, Manhattan
Salary: 50K or higher (DOE)

Duties:
・Oversees both FOH and BOH for lunch and dinner.
・Analysis and planning to working with chefs and beverage specialists in helping design menu offerings and pairings.
・Lead the marketing and engagement efforts through social media platform.

Requirements:
・Some experience with Japanese food industries would be desirable, but genuine interest in the cuisine and drive to learn would be more important.
・Working level Japanese language skills would be highly desirable, and the company would be willing to provide further language instruction as necessary, as well as other skills -- such as sake sommelier -- which would enhance the candidate's effectiveness.
・Excellent written and oral skills, phone etiquette and polite demeanor are essential.

Benefits:
・The position's starting salary would be $50K per annum or more (DOE), depending on relevant experience and language skills.
