Dishwasher Needed / 洗い場スタッフ募集中

We are an authentic Japanese restaurant in NYC, serving traditional Japanese food for 45 years.

We are currently looking for a dishwasher to join our team.

More than half of our staff are Japanese, so this could be a good fit for someone who is interested in Japanese culture, wants to improve their Japanese naturally, or simply wants to experience what it is like to work in a Japanese environment in New York.

No experience is necessary. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working as part of a team. Steady work is available.

Duties include dishwashing, light food prep, cleaning, stocking, and other general kitchen tasks.

If you are interested in cooking, there may also be an opportunity to move from the dish station into a kitchen position as you gain experience.

If you are interested in Japanese food, culture, or language and are looking for a place where you can learn while working, we would be happy to hear from you.

Work hours: 3:00 pm until closing, usually around 11:00 pm
Restaurant hours: 5:00–10:00 pm
Sundays off
