Part-time Studio Assistant Intern will work under the direction of the Artist and alongside lead studio assistants. Candidates should possess a strong interest, sensitivity and awareness of working with a variety of materials and the ability to quickly absorb new methods. The Studio Assistant Intern will gain experience in learning how to handle, install and move large, heavy and fragile art objects.

Candidates must be reliable, diligent, and possess an astute attention to detail. Experience working in a prior artist studio is beneficial, but not mandatory. Must speak English.

1-2 days per week, 8am – 4:30pm. Up to $15.00 a day in travel expenses will be reimbursed. The studio is located in West New York, NJ, one of the first exits outside of the Lincoln Tunnel, easily accessible by public transportation.
