Japanese Restaurant Bessou Seeks Line Cook (Noho, Manhattan)

We are looking for a full time line cook to join our restaurant in Noho.
At least one year of experience working in a professional kitchen or equivalent experience. We are looking for an individual with a passion for cooking who is comfortable being both a team player and working independently. 週3−4日希望。
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Prepare and plate dishes according to the restaurant's guidelines/vision
-Follow basic recipes without direct supervision
-Keep a clean, safe, and A level (health department approved) kitchen
-Scrub down and organize kitchen, storage areas, as needed
-Perform additional tasks as requested by the Chef, Owner or Manager

Bessou is a restaurant serving modern Japanese comfort food. Since 2016, Bessou has been on several best-of lists including New York Magazine, Time Out, Zagat, and Tasting Table and has been critically reviewed by the New York Times, Time Out and the Village Voice. We have a fast casual outpost inside Time Out Market in Dumbo since Summer 2019. The restaurant is run by owner Maiko Kyogoku and chef Emily Yuen, who have a combined 20 years experience, having worked together in the restaurants of Daniel Boulud, the Bromberg Brothers and Michel Roux Jr. We are a small family-oriented team, dedicated to creating delicious and beautiful food and being part of the local community.
