SUMMARY OF POSITION:
To minimize credit risk exposure to SCA by applying solid risk management techniques, including analysis of customer financial performance as well as review related contracts or agreements to make sure that SCA's interests are protected.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: RISK MANAGEMENT

■ Evaluate credit worthiness on new and existing accounts as demonstrated in financials, bank/trade references and information retrieved through external sources such as Bloomberg terminal, Credit Risk Monitor, D&B and industry reports. Contact companies directly as needed, including visits and meetings with client company's management.
■ Monitor risk portfolio to minimize losses by identifying delinquent accounts and monitoring follow-up on U.S. and international accounts receivable portfolios.
■ Collaborate efforts with business departments to contact customers by phone, e-mail or by the sending of past due letters to resolve payment issues and request assistance from the Legal Department when warranted. Maintains the latest credit limit information in Accounting system (SAP, and/or FOCUS, MTS) by entering required information (expiration date, rating and insurance information etc.)after credit applications are approved.

CREDIT INSURANCE

■ Manage proper administration of the Credit Insurance Policy by reviewing credit limits, appropriate coverage of transactions and consistency with internal procedures, following up on claims and reporting of transactions 60 days past due.
■ Assist to ensure insurance policy provides SCA with the most effective coverage by filing claims within the insurance terms, reviewing underwriting decisions and interfacing with underwriters, preparing reports to support SCA's positions to appeal insurance company's decisions, and determine recovery strategies.
■ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
■ Provide support to business departments by obtaining D&B report
■ Support Maintains accurate cost allocation of Credit Insurance Premium
■ Support to prepare monthly report
■ Support to process request for new business to get D&B report, Rating, check Credit Insurance Coverage

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related discipline.
Preference: 3 years experiences in Credit and Financial analysis.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Broad market knowledge in dedicated business industries.
Good understanding of Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Cash Flow Statements.
Good understanding of trade credit operation.
Some understanding of Credit Insurance.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Strong planning, organizational and workflow prioritization skills.
Preference for working experience at Japanese Company to understand Japanese company culture/system, is required.
