Since 2011, HAND has actively expanded Korean and Japanese cuisines in Midtown, New York. TOWA is our new Japanese restaurant from HAND, and we are currently seeking 'Server & Host 'to join the TOWA team. We're looking for people who share our desire to develop genuine connections with our guests, making them feel welcome, relaxed, and at home.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the daily operations. You will manage the kitchen and dining room and oversee all team members ensure a positive guest experience. In addition, you will be responsible for all administrative and organizational functions to ensure a smooth and successful operation.
Other responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager role include:
· Upholding standards of excellence, cleanliness, and hospitality
· Leading and training the team
· Managing all functions related to restaurant maintenance
· Handling payroll, scheduling, ordering product
· Focusing attention on team development
· Overseeing inventory, quality, and safety
· Managing the facility
REQUIREMENTS
You must be self-motivated, positive, and possess a passion for fostering a great sense of teamwork. We are seeking experienced professionals with a talent for leading and inspiring others. In addition, you must exhibit high standards and be committed to providing the best guest experience.
Other requirements of the Restaurant Manager role include:
· Required Experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
· Experience in food safety and planning - food handler certification, strongly preferred
· Ability to work independently, take the initiative, and be a problem solver and self-starter
· Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team of 15+ team members
· Must exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence at every level
·Japanese culture and Experience are a significant plus.
·Japanese speaking preference
