Physical Therapist 募集!!
At Orthopedic Movement Physical Therapy, we believe in sustainability and living lives that empower us to take care of ourselves, our community, and our environment. We are looking for a team member who passionately believes in reaching the lives of others and creating change in this world.
Amongst our specialties is a manual therapy technique called Fascial Counterstrain which we use to diagnose and treat the fascia of arteries, veins, nerves, and organs as well as muscle and bone. This enables us to identify the root cause of an injury and formulate a vastly more efficient treatment and help people who have failed traditional PT. We are helping to revolutionize healthcare with this technique, which earned a mention in Tony Robbins’ latest best-selling book “Life Force”.
Our patient caseload ranges from the RSI-prone office worker to the professional athlete, to patients with chronic Lyme disease, post-concussion syndrome, IBS, long-COVID and more elusive medical mysteries. In addition to clinical work, there may be opportunities to treat at varied events such as the CrossFit Games, dance/Broadway performances, and outreach to veterans with PTSD.
We are looking for somebody who is warm, empathetic, and passionate about continued learning. Counterstrain is a technique which requires an immense amount of anatomical knowledge beyond what is taught in PT school, and thus will require a significant amount of supplementary study or experience.
Full time position includes a comprehensive benefits package including:
Generous continuing education reimbursement for 4-6 classes per year and paid time off
APTA membership and malpractice insurance reimbursement
Paid vacation/sick leave
401k
1 on 1 mentoring including weekly training sessions, observation hours, and co-treatments
Requirements:
Excellent manual skills
NYS license for physical therapy, physical therapy assistant, or massage
