Your role as the New York Flagship Store Manager involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, managing staff, and ensuring that the store meets its sales goals and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction.
In this role you will:
- Be responsible for achieving sales goals by motivating and coaching the sales team, monitoring sales activity, and identifying opportunities to increase sales.
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure that the store has sufficient stock of merchandise to meet customer demand.
- Ensure that customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met. This may involve training staff on customer service best practices, handling customer complaints, and ensuring that the store maintains a welcoming and attractive environment.
- Be responsible for training new employees, scheduling staff shifts, and managing employee performance.
- Marketing and promotions: The store manager is responsible for promoting the store and its products to potential customers. This may involve coordinating promotional events, advertising campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
Qualifications you will need to possess or develop further
- A deep knowledge of jewelry, including diamonds, precious stones, and metals, is essential for this role. - You should be able to communicate the features and benefits of different products to customers and staff.
- Be skilled at selling products and have excellent customer service skills. You should be able to motivate staff to meet sales goals and ensure that customers are satisfied with their shopping experience.
- Must be able to lead and manage a team of sales associates, set and achieve sales goals, and manage store operations.
- Must be able to analyze financial reports, and manage inventory.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and other actors, both verbally and in writing.
- Must have a keen eye for detail to ensure that the store is well-maintained and that inventory levels are accurate.
- Able to work independently and drive for results.
