Professional Operations Assistant

180 the Store and Williamson Showroom is a luxury retail/lifestyle store/event space and PR Agency located in Tribeca, NYC, is seeking an experienced and organized person to join the team as an Operations Assistant.

The Operations Assistant will possess strong knowledge of the fashion industry, must be proficient with Shopify, and passionate about the brands and clients we represent and the company. This individual must have working retail operations experience, outstanding communication skills, and be extremely organized and detail-oriented. This individual will assist in all operational aspects of the store and showroom and in organizing in-store events and installations This position will also receive and enter stock into Spopify, manage the showroom samples and store stock, order supplies, conduct employee orientation, and inventory management. They will also assist in managing our e-commerce site and organizing photo shoots.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work directly with the CEO on managing the day-to-day operations of the company
Receive and enter stock into our POS system, Shopify
Manage all incoming and outgoing shipments
Restock the sales floor and ensure that the store and the stockroom are organized and maintained
Following up on all e-commerce orders and customer service inquiries.
Manage and update the 180 the Store manual and procedures.
Order all company supplies and equipment
Assist in organizing and managing in-store events and work closely with the in-house PR department
Oversee and conduct monthly inventory.
Assist in uploading new merchandise on the company's e-commerce site
Maintain and develop customer relationships.
Assist in organizing in-store events.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED :

3+ years in the luxury fashion/retail business
Must be proficient on Shopify
Strong merchandising skills
Excellent communication and writing skills
Extremely detail-oriented.
Highly motivated and personable
Excellent knowledge of the fashion industry
Legal US work permit / Visa
