Position: Restaurant Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000-$75,000
Are you passionate about the art of Japanese tea, confectionary, and desserts? Are you a natural organizer of events, paperwork, and schedules? Do you dream of leading a team of dessert artists and customer service stars?
We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking, and goal-oriented manager to lead our equally dedicated staff at our quaint and cozy Japanese teahouse. Just like our desserts, the candidate can build rapport with our customers but also maintain order in the kitchen.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating employees
- Ensuring day-to-day operations across all sections of the business
- Enforcing local mandates, safety/sanitation regulations and workplace protocols
- Executing the creation of menu items, promotional materials, and other marketing strategies
- Managing inventory, equipment, scheduling, etc.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience leading or co-leading food establishment operations. 1+ years of professional baking, confectionary making, tea brewing, and/or beverage making experience is a plus. Japanese language skills are a plus.
