Kitchen Staff for New Japanese Cafe

HOUSE Brooklyn is opening a cozy and casual café-resto-bar that blends French techniques with Japanese sensibility. Cafe O'Te by HOUSE Brooklyn is soft-opening this month, and we’re looking for passionate, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our opening team.

We're now hiring All-Rounders - versatile team members who can handle both kitchen and service duties. This role is perfect for someone who loves food, enjoys hospitality, and wants to be involved in all aspects of a small, dynamic operation.

Responsibilities:

*Greet guests warmly and deliver outstanding customer service throughout their visit
*Assist in food and beverage preparation, ensuring health and safety standards are met
*Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment - both front and back of house
*Safely handle food and follow proper food-handling procedures
*Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy hours
*Accommodate customer dietary needs when necessary

Qualifications:

*Minimum 1 year of experience in a café or restaurant (kitchen or service)
*Strong interest in both Japanese and French cuisine
*Comfortable serving table side and behind a counter
*Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
*Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
*Willingness to jump between roles and work as part of a collaborative team
*Japanese language skills a plus
*Passion for food, hospitality, and creativity
*Must be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
