📢【Position】Senior Systems/Server Engineer
💲【Salary】 $70k-$120k
📍【Location】 New York, NY

【Job Duties】
• Develop and maintain on-prem/cloud server infrastructure, OS and applications and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement database structures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Create and manage APIs
• Work to build and maintain server management systems that meet client requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server performance, database queries, and application functionality.
• Document development processes, changes, and system configurations for future reference.

【Qualifications / Requirements】
• Proven experience in server/cloud development and operation for 3 years at least
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Hyper-V
and VMWare-based virtualization environments including VDI and Veeam.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Servers/PCs and Azure/Entra (with Exchange Online,
Conditional Access, Intune, Purview, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams) is highly desirable.
• Solid policy and service configuration skills such as GPO, DNS, etc.
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible
solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes (i.e. PRTG)
• Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
• Endpoint EDR solutions such as Crowdstrike, Symantec, Trendmicro
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
