Currently our client, a Financial Company is looking for a Japanese Bilingual Accountant.

【Location】 New York, NY
【Position】Accountant
【Compensation】$60,000 - $90,000
【Hiring Syle】Direct hiring, Full-time

*This is a hybrid position

●Responsibilities
・ Preparing accounting entries including accruals, data inputs and account posting;
・Performing reconciliation and closing accounts;
・Preparing financial statements for U.S. and/or Canada;
・Preparing incoming and outgoing cash schedule on a daily basis;
・Issuing Company checks and tracking outstanding checks;
・ Checking and maintaining bank records, and updating cash flow balance;
・Preparing funding arrangement notices to banks.
・Handles Federal, State, and Local Tax Activities
・Preparing / assisting miscellaneous tax returns, including form 1042’s, form 1096 & 1099, census reports, annual reports, etc.;

●Qualifications
・Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university; and 8+ years of accounting experience
・Experience at an audit firm, financial institution, or leasing company is preferred.
