About us: 45R is a Japanese luxury clothing brand that specializes in indigo dye, denim, fabric making, and traditional Japanese textile techniques. Our flagship store in SoHo has been open since the year 2000. We have built a large client base over years that appreciates the brand's dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and unique design.
We are looking for a full time Sales Associates at our New York location. The candidates must have a love for fashion, textile, and high quality products. He/she must enjoy interacting with people, providing excellent customer service and communicating within a team. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn all aspects of our brand, and can take on responsibilities. 


Required education:
High school or equivalent

Required language: English is required.
Japanese is helpful but not necessary

Sales Associates: 
Responsibilities Include:

• Outstanding customer service with focus on customer retention

• Creating and maintaining an inspirational shopping environment within our store

• Visual merchandise including window display

• Online maintenance and updates

 Minimum qualifications but not limited to:

• Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays

• Great sense of style

• Self-motivated

• Outgoing / Enjoy interacting with people

• Must be able to learn and retain product knowledge

• Excellent work ethic

• Team player

• To be able to greet with a smile (create an environment where everyone feels welcomed)

• Experience using PhotoShop, Word, Excel
, WooCommerce, Shopify, Heartland Retail POS
• Interest in Japanese culture is a plus


• Alteration skills welcomed!

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and job performance. The hourly wage ranges from $20 to 25. At 45R, we foster a collaborative ethos, and as such, we do not operate on a commission-based system.
