Currently our client, a Japanese Company is looking for a HR & Administrative Coordinator.
【Location】New York, NY
【Position】 HR & Administrative Coordinator.
【Compensation】$60,000 - $70,000
【Hiring Syle】Direct hiring, Full-time
Job Description:
■Key Responsibilities:
・Payroll & Benefits Administration:
・Process and manage regular payroll utilizing Paychex.
・Handle complex Gross-Up calculations (identifying gross-up/gross-down items such as expense reports, child support, allowances, etc.).
・Manage employee benefits enrollment, renewals, and policy reviews.
・Maintain and track corporate licenses and compliance schedules.

Expatriate Support:
・Provide comprehensive life-support for Japanese expatriates, including tax return coordination and apartment lease/rent management.
・Support corporate trainees with local onboarding, housing, and HQ reimbursement processes.

General Operations:
・Manage corporate asset renewals (e.g., coordinating with insurance companies for company vehicle renewals).
・Handle irregular office and administrative issues with high professional judgment.

■Qualifications:
・Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in Payroll (PR) processing and HR/General Affairs administration.

■Technical Skills:
・Experience with Paychex or ADP is required.
・Knowledge of Gross-Up calculation logic (training can be provided if basic PR experience exists).
・Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word).
