Ecommerce Associate — Sōrate

Location: Sōrate Office (fulfillment/packing space)
Schedule: Monday & Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional additional shifts as needed
Pay: $20/hour, paid weekly via direct deposit
Type: Part-time, hourly

About Sōrate
Sōrate is a premium Japanese matcha and tea brand rooted in first-harvest teas from Uji, Japan. We're looking for a detail-oriented, reliable person to join our small team and help ensure every order that leaves our office reflects the same care we put into sourcing our teas.

What You'll Do

Pack and ship online orders accurately and on schedule
Portion and package loose-leaf teas and matcha into bags, following weight and presentation standards
Apply labels and stickers neatly and consistently
Organize and maintain inventory in the fulfillment space, flagging low stock or discrepancies
Keep the packing area clean and orderly

What We're Looking For

Reliable and punctual, able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on tasks and careful attention to detail
Able to lift and carry boxes/inventory (up to ~25 lbs)
Basic organizational skills; comfortable following a checklist or process
Prior packing, fulfillment, or retail experience is a plus but not required

Schedule Details

Regular shifts: Mondays and Thursdays, 9 AM – 5 PM
A third shift may be added during busier weeks (e.g., promotions, holidays), with advance notice when possible

Compensation

$20/hour
Paid weekly via direct deposit
