Professional Gay Couple Looking for Highly Organized, Detail- and Design-Oriented Personal Assistant (Japanese Language Skills a Plus)
We are a professional gay couple looking for a part-time personal assistant. This position requires someone who is highly detail-oriented and has a great design sense. Respectfully, if this does not describe you, it won’t be a good fit. Here are some of the features of the position:
• Flexible hours but generally M-F afternoons. Some weekend work required, including evenings occasionally during events
• 10 hours guaranteed minimum. Perhaps as many as 20 hours of work per week if desired
• $20 per hour
• Located in Chelsea
• We have a small dog, so must be dog-friendly
Responsibilities Include:
• Personal Assistant Work
o Running errands all over town
o Preparing, wrapping, and delivering gifts
o Planning and preparing for parties and social events
o Shopping
o Ordering and sending flowers, sometimes making floral arrangements (training provided)
o Internet research
o Scanning documents into PDF format

Qualifications for the job include:
• Legally able to work in the US – this position will be paid by check and a 1099 will be issued at year’s end, not “under the table”
• Excellent computer skills, including high degree of comfort with Internet searches, MS Word & Excel
• Excellent writing skills. Japanese language skills a plus but not required.
