Currently seeking servers & kitchen staff to join Village Yokocho, a lively Japanese street-food style Izakaya in the East Village. Tucked away on the 2nd floor of Stuyvesant Street in the East Village, Village Yokocho is a must go-to spot in New York City. This Japanese Izakaya opened in 1995, the first izakaya in the neighborhood. Our extensive menu consists of Japanese comfort food. Yakitori (charcoal grilled skewers) are prepared in our open air kitchen area & hot and cold dishes are prepared in our main kitchen in the back.

Requirements:
-Great at multi-tasking. Able to move swiftly and efficiently
-Understand health & sanitary regulations of NYC
-able to explain menu thoroughly and be able to provide excellent customer service skills
-Able to work in a fast-paced, high volume restaurant
-Extremely RESPONSIVE, RELIABLE and PUNCTUAL
-Team/family oriented

Position is available for full / part-time.
